According to E! Online, actress Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl, Melrose Place and Generations) has filed for divorce from her husband Daniel Giersch. They were married for two years.  There were no reports that the two were going through marital problems until now.  As far as I knew, everything was okay with Kelly and Daniel. I remember when Gossip Girl first started that she was talking about how happy she was with her new husband. In fact, they were preparing for the arrival of their new baby.  They already have a 2-year-old son named Hermés Gustaf Giersch.  Kelly has cited irreconcilable differences for the reason of their divorce.  This is Kelly’s second marriage.  She divorced her first husband in January 2002 after being with him for five months.

This is sad news for Kelly and her husband.  This seems like a bad time to be getting a divorce since she and her husband are having a baby.  Something bad must have happened between them for her to file for a divorce when she’s about to have a baby.  Irreconcilable differences is usually the Hollywood reason for divorce, but something seems strange about this one since they seemed happy recently and are about to have a baby.
