Actress Lisa Bonet, 41, and actor Jason Momoa, 29, had a new baby boy.  They named him Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.  She had him a few weeks ago. Yes, you read his name right.  That is the name that they gave him.  I can’t believe what she was thinking.  She claimed that she planned on naming the baby Nakoa-Wolf, but Jason did research on the first middle name (Manakauapo) and wanted to name him that.  Namakaeha is Jason’s middle name. 

According to Lisa, Nakoa means warrior, Mana means strength/spirit, Kaua means rain, and Po means dark.  The baby was born on a stormy night so I guess she thought this made sense.  I feel sorry for the baby when he gets older.  He will always have to pronounce his name to people.  His name has to be one of the longest names in history.  For his sake, he needs to come up with a nickname. 

Nakoa-Wolf is Lisa and Jason’s second child.  They also have a daughter named Lola Iolani who Lisa gave birth to in 2007.  Lisa also has a 20-year-old daughter with her ex-husband rocker Lenny Kravitz.   

Lisa is best known for her role as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show and A Different World and most recently starred in ABC’s Life On Mars.  Jason Momoa is best known for his role on Sci-Fi’s Stargate Atlantis.

Congratulations to Lisa and Jason on the new addition to their family.

Days Of Our Lives star and The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney gave birth to a little girl.  She had the baby at 11:48 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2009.  The baby weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.  She named the baby Megan Hope Sanov.  According to Alison’s rep, Alison, Dave (her husband) and the baby are doing well.  Alison and Dave also have a 3-year-old son named Ben.  Now’s he’s a big brother.  Congratulations to Alison and Dave.  I wish them all the luck in the world with their new addition to the family.

I have been a fan of Days Of Our Lives for years and she is one of my favorite characters on the show.  I know she loves Days and I’m wondering if that’s where she got her daughter’s name.  There were two characters on Days Of Our Lives named Megan and Hope.  Hope is one of my favorite female characters on the show and I read that she is one of Alison’s favorite characters too.

I’m glad Alison gave her daughter a normal name.  With the way celebrities are giving their children strange names, it seems unusual when celebrities give their children a normal name.
