Violence surrounding Notorious movie
There were two violent incidents surrounding the Notorious movie. In Greensboro, NC, a man was shot in the stomach at the opening of the movie. He got in an argument with someone in the theater. It was not known if the shooting had anything to do with the movie. The people at the theater decided to cancel all showings of the movie.
During an after party for the New York premiere, 4 men were stabbed. It happened in a night club in New York. One of the victims (21) was stabbed multiple times and was taken to the hospital. He is in critical condition. The other 3 men were in stable condition. It’s not known what caused this to happen.
This movie is not getting off to a very good start. It’s already been pulled from one theater because of a shooting. Four people have been stabbed. This publicity could either help or hurt the movie’s chances of doing well at the box office. I hope there won’t be anymore violence surrounding the movie.
For those of you who don’t know, Notorious is about the life of rapper Notorious B.I.G. It opened this weekend.

It’s a shame that people have to resort to violence over a movie.
It certainly is a crazy world that we live in and it is getting worse!
