Chris Brown Officially Charged

 chris-brown-2.jpg

This just in! Chris Brown was charged with two felony counts for beating Rihanna.  He was charged with assault and making criminal threats. Both of these counts are considered felonies.  He’s supposed to be at LA Superior Court for his arraignment.  If he is convicted, he can face up to four to eight years in jail.

TMZ has a quote for why he’s getting charged with making criminal threats.  Here’s the quote:

Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes.Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood.

Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.”

Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.””

Even though Rihanna and Chris might be back together again, he was still charged. Even without Rihanna’s testimony, Chris may still face jail time. The interview that Rihanna gave the police after the incident is strong enough evidence to charge him.  In the interview, she told the police that Chris has hit her in the past and that the attacks have become more violent.  They also have the pictures that were released of her face to use against Chris too.  The ones that weren’t released to the media were worse than the one that was released.

It looks like Chris Brown is in some serious trouble. The prosecution wants to take this matter seriously so he might be in trouble even if he and Rihanna decide to work things out and stay together.  Maybe he should have thought twice about hitting Rihanna the way he did. No one will ever know what happened between them to get the fight started, but he shouldn’t have hit her the way he did.  Even if she started the fight, he is still the one getting in trouble for it now.

I personally believe a person who does infact beat a woman is a coward. Holding a woman accountable for her actions, and being a man holding your own love for her having her see that it’s broken is one thing, [if infact she did anything to hurt him] but he’s going to jail, and will have that on his record for the rest of his life…the problem I have with any part of that is; the courts are infact very fe-male biased, even if he didn’t beat her she could say it, and still he’d under a microscope for something he didn’t do…since there’s proof! pictures, people to testify, and undeniable evidence he did beat her he’s going to jail over than a simple over-righter!!! Good! I hope that person is held accountable for his actions for the rest of his life….and sees her face in his dreams.

I’m glad he is facing the consequences of his action. No one should hit or threaten anyone no matter who started the fight!

    Great write-up, Milly!

I am glad he was charged, so he knows what he did deserved more than just an apology!
