Update About Deidre Hall
I know I haven’t been updating my blog lately. I am dealing with some personal issues that have kept me from updating my blog the way I did before. With that said, I will move on with your entertainment fix.
Soap Opera Weekly reported that Deidre Hall was having financial trouble. Well, it turns out that wasn’t true after all. Deidre Hall said “that the story is nonsense and that her life is great”. She is enjoying having this time to spend with her two sons.
I’m glad that her life is great, but I was curious about something. She said that the story was nonsense, but she didn’t come out and say that she isn’t having money problems. If she’s not, I wonder what she’s doing for money. It’s not as if she’s acting now. Maybe she has great investments that bring her money. There’s also another possibility. She could just be saying that the story is nonsense just so no one would know how bad she’s doing. I hope this possibility isn’t true. If it is, it could have been avoided if Ken Corday didn’t fire her from Days Of Our Lives. She would still be acting and be able to support her family.
I guess we’ll never hear anything about this issue from Ken Corday since he doesn’t seem to care too much about the actors that he chose to fire. Maybe it’s a good thing that he hasn’t said anything since he might end up saying something bad about her.

I think you are correct. She either is denying it so save face, or she has done the smart thing and invested her money to take care of herself in the future. I hope it is the second thing.
I am really glad you are back. I have been hoping you would return so I could get my star gossip fix!
Thanks for the nice comment. I’m glad that you will be able to get your gossip fix.
Good to see you writing again. This post shows that you cannot believe everything you read in the media. Deidre Hall was clearly not having financial trouble.
I had heard this too but I suspected it might not be true since she made twelve million dollars a year a number and I can’t even count that high. I’m sure she’s fine. Sure she’s not getting the million a month but how could a person go through so much money that they’d actually have financial problems when she was getting that much money.
Yeah Ken really doesn’t seem to care since I haven’t been too happy with the ones he’s fired. I’m just waiting to see who’s going to be next but I also don’t think this soap will last long anyway since they signed such a short contract. This network seems hellbent on getting rid of soaps entirely so I don’t even bother with it so I’m glad for SoapNet to watch Days. I’m still bitter about them cancelling Passions. I could be wrong but I think this network has the highest cancellation rate on soaps since they’ve cancelled six since I’ve started watching soaps.
