Rapper Nas and his wife R&B singer Kelis are going through marital problems.  In fact, word is they are getting divorced.  Kelis filed for divorce from Nas.

What’s weird about this divorce is the fact that Kelis is seven months pregnant with the couple’s first child.  Nas has a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship. 

According to reports, bad business deals and infidelity played a factor in her decision to file for divorce.  It doesn’t surprise me that infidelity might have played a part in the divorce.  There’s no way a woman would divorce her husband while she’s seven months pregnant unless something major happened.

This is not the first time Nas and Kelis were in the press about their marriage.  There were rumors circulating that the couple were heading for divorce court.  There were rumors that Nas might have been having an affair with another woman and that he and Kelis were breaking up.  Nas and Kelis denied those rumors.  I guess they were true after all.

Nas and Kelis have been married for four years.  Hopefully they will find a way to work out their problems.  It’s a shame that their marriage is over considering they are about to have their child soon. They are one more couple in the public eye that are going through a divorce.  Kelly Rutherford and her husband are getting a divorce while having a baby.  Sean Penn and Robin Wright are also going to be getting a divorce soon.  There must be something in the water to make all of these couples want to break up.

Top Gun actress Kelly McGillis (52) has addressed rumors about her sexuality.  There have been rumors about her being a lesbian.  She’s finally confirmed the rumors.  She confessed that she is a lesbian.  She said that she is finished with men and it’s time for her to move on with her life.  Kelly wanted to be true to herself by coming clean about her sexuality.  She said that she has had feelings for women since she was about 12 years old.

Kelly felt that God cursed her because she had feelings for women.  She credits the bad things that have happened to her on her feelings for women.  I remember reading years ago that she was raped.  I wonder if that had anything to do with why she was done with men. 

Kelly was married to Boyd Black in 1979.  The marriage lasted for two years.  She was married to Fred Tillman for 13 years and has two daughters with him.  The couple divorced in 2002.  Kelly said that she is single and looking for a female partner. 

I hadn’t heard the rumors about her being a lesbian and I didn’t know they were spreading for years.  It was a shock to me that she confirmed being a lesbian.  I wonder why she kept it a secret for so long. I also wonder if that had something to do with why her marriage was over.  I hope that the news doesn’t have a negative affect on her youngest daughter. She is still in high school and we all know how cruel kids can be.  It could be a nightmare for her that her mother revealed her sexuality this way.

I hope she didn’t reveal her true sexuality to get herself back out in the limelight.  The timing couldn’t be better since now she’s being talked about again.

 Johnny Depp Up For New Role
Johnny Depp, movie star and former star of 21 Jump Street, is possibly up for a new role.  Sid and Marty Krofft are interested in getting Johnny Depp to play Witchiepoo in a new movie.  The movie will be an updated version of their series H.R. Pufnstuf.  It’s slated to be in movie theaters in 2011.  Billie Hayes, the actress from the original series, thinks Johnny would be perfect for the role.  She thinks Johnny is “off-the-wall and has experience in wearing wild makeup”. 

What’s interesting about this is that Johnny might be playing a woman. I’m not sure if the character is going to change into a man or if he’s playing a woman in the movie. If he is, he has experience in dressing as a woman.  He dressed as a woman for an episode of 21 Jump Street. He looked pretty good dressed up as a woman. LOL!  I’m not familiar with the series, but I’m sure that Johnny will do a great job because he is a really good actor. 

90210 Star Out!
There’s casting news on 90210.  Dustin Milligan (Ethan) has been released from the show.  The powers that be have decided to write him out after the season is over.  He was let go after completing the finale in March.  The writers tried to do different things with his character, but they didn’t work.  One of the things was trying to pair him with Silver while she was dating Dixon.  To add insult to injury for him, his departure is not even going to be addressed on the show.  He is probably just going to disappear without anyone even noticing it.  Dustin is hoping that the writers will give him a proper sendoff in Season two.  I had a feeling that his days were numbered since he wasn’t getting much to do on the show after he and Naomi broke up. He also didn’t get much to do when he was paired up with Annie.  Their relationship didn’t last long on the show. That’s not a good sign since she is one of the lead characters on the show.

Former Desperate Housewives Characters To Return
There are two characters returning to Desperate Housewives.  One is a major character from the first two seasons.  The character will return in the last five minutes of the season finale on May 17^th.  Marc Cherry is keeping the identity hush hush.  I wonder if it’s John (the gardener) or Zack (Mike’s son).  They were both on for the first two seasons. The kids have been aged so it can’t be any of them.  I doubt it will be the Applewhites since they haven’t been mentioned since they moved from Wisteria Lane.

The other character returning to Desperate Housewives is Julie (Andrea Bowen) who is Susan’s daughter.  She will be needed for her mother after what Dave is going to be doing to her.  I think he might end up hurting her son and Julie will probably come back to comfort her.
